Sd Kfz 231 Typ GS 8-Rad

This SdKfz231-8 is exhibited at the Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung Koblenz/Germany. This one replaced the 6-wheeled version because of the much improved off-road mobility. The exhibited piece is possibly the only one still in existance. It was captured by the US Army in North Africa after suffering an engine hit. It was later returned from the USA to the museum.
