What is this page about?
There are a lot good pages out there concerning technical stuff about WWII or Combat Mission (see the "Links" section).
If you are looking for statistics, technical details or historical pictures you are probably wrong here. :) This page solely contains pictures from still existing WWII battlegear with an emphasis on vehicles. It gives you an overview what to expect at museums, exhibitions and memorial sites. And if you are a citizen of a state too far away to get to the place easily you have some exclusive shots of the stuff there ;-)
But always remember that crappy pictures on the internet are nothing compared with reality. There is nothing like standing in front of a real steal beast! Most museums and private collections depend on their visitors to survive. So go there if you have any chance and support them.
Vehicles get exchanged, stored, moved or even (*gasp*) scrapped. There is no way to be sure they are still at the location you can see them on the pictures.

Legal stuff!
Some German legal stuff: Laut § 86 Abs. 3 StGB "Verbreiten von Propagandamitteln verfassungswidriger Organisationen": "(3) Absatz 1 gilt nicht, wenn das Propagandamittel oder die Handlung der staatsbürgerlichen Aufklärung, der Abwehr verfassungswidriger Bestrebungen, der Kunst oder der Wissenschaft, der Forschung oder der Lehre, der Berichterstattung über Vorgänge des Zeitgeschehens oder der Geschichte oder ähnlichen Zwecken dient." - Falls sich auf diesen Seiten Bilder von in Museen ausgestellten Fahrzeugen befinden, die verfassungswidrige Symbole tragen, so dienen diese nicht der politischen Propaganda, sondern fallen unter obigen Paragraphen des Strafgesetzbuches.

The tank museum in Saumur/France is extremely restrictive concerning pictures on www-sites. You are not allowed to use the pictures from the tank museum Saumur on other sites! Sorry...

Who are we?
We are just two guys playing a lot of Combat Mission. That's why we started this page . In mIRC (IRC-Net), ICQ and at the Combat Mission Forum we are known as "Lindan" and "Warphead" (warphead @ nahverteidigungswaffe.de).

What is this page NOT about?
This page is not a glorification of war! We do not support the ideology of the Third Reich or any other right wing crap.

You got this tank wrong!
It may come as a surprise to you, but we are humans! (OK, I am not quite sure with Lindan...). Should you find something plainly wrong about this page or a content, feel free to email us. There are dozens of variants of almost every vehicle. And we surely got something wrong ...
